Description:
Giant pandas have a distinctive black-and-white coat. Their eyes, ears, shoulders, and legs are black, while the rest of their body is white. They have a large, round face with a short muzzle. Adults typically weigh between 220-330 pounds (100-150 kg) and measure about 4-6 feet (1.2-1.8 meters) in length. While pandas are technically carnivores, their diet is over 99% bamboo. They may occasionally eat other vegetation, fish, or small animals. Native to the mountain ranges in central China, primarily in Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. They live in temperate forests with dense bamboo undergrowth.
